What is injury rehabilitation?
Injury rehabilitation is the key element to becoming pain free and staying there. It is the use of evidence based exercise prescription, focusing on your key weaknesses, mechanism of injury and causative factors. These are identified during your initial consultation that all new patients/ injuries require. Your rehabilitation programme will be regularly adapted depending on how you and your therapist feel about progress made.
Benefits of injury rehabilitation:
- Improving strength
- Increasing mobility
- Reducing pain
- Preventing injury
- Improving posture
- Biomechanical improvements
What to expect in an injury rehabilitation session:
All new injuries/ patients will require an initial consultation to identify your strengths and weaknesses, cause of injury and pain levels. From this, we will then be able to tailor a rehabilitation programme to your every need and work closely with you towards the goal of becoming pain free and stronger. During your one-to-one session, your therapist will assess your biomechanics, pain, and mobility. You will then receive a personalised rehabilitation programme, emailed to you after your session, so that progress can be made across your lifestyle (at home, on the move, in the gym etc).
